Research interests:

- quantitative and taxonomic diversity of mycoplankton in various types of flowing water;
- the role of fungi in the biotransformation of organic matter in lotic ecosystems;
- relationships between organic matter, bacterioplankton and mycoplankton;
- the application of molecular biology methods: PCR ITS- RFLP and Sanger sequencing of DNA in taxonomy of aquatic fungi.
